SoCo provides tests designed to validate the functionality of pressure-vacuum vent valves on USTs and ensure compliance with specific static pressure requirements for vapor balance systems.  This type of vapor recovery testing is routinely referred to as NESHAP Stage I Vapor Recovery Testing. 

SoCo provides Cathodic Protection services designed to manage corrosion in buried steel components such as Underground Storage Tanks (USTs), steel piping, and flex connectors. SoCo provides Internal camera inspections (iTiCam) specifically designed for Underground Storage Tanks (USTs). These inspections utilize explosion-proof cameras attached to flexible cables, enabling the assessment of tank interiors without the need for excavation. Controlled from a centralized console, these cameras, equipped with LED lights, offer detailed visuals, enhancing safety by reducing human exposure to potential hazards. The comprehensive data analysis derived from these inspections assists operators in making informed decisions regarding maintenance and repairs for USTs. This valuable information is crucial for operators to have before initiating any excavation, ensuring a proactive approach to tank management.

Tailored for Underground Storage Tank (UST) product lines, our helium pinpoint leak detection system efficiently identifies and locates small leaks within these systems. Leveraging helium as a tracer gas and specialized detectors, such as mass spectrometers, this method ensures precise detection, enabling prompt mitigation of potential issues. This process, involving helium pressurization and targeted leak identification, is crucial for maintaining UST integrity and ensuring environmental compliance. It supports swift and effective action to address any identified concerns, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of UST installations.
